Chapter 2: The Paper That Changed Everything

The room held its breath.
Then the matriarch laughed — a slow, cold sound that cut through the silence like a blade.
"You would throw away everything," she said, her eyes moving from him to the trembling woman in his arms, "for a servant?" 😤
"She is not just a servant." His voice was low.
Steady.
Dangerous.
"She is carrying my child."
A sharp gasp rippled through the room.
His mother's face went white.
His brother took one step back.
An aunt pressed her hand over her mouth.
The matriarch's cane struck the marble floor — once, hard.
"That child will never carry this family's name.
I will make sure of it." 😡
He looked at her for a long moment.
Then he reached into his jacket and pulled out a folded document.
"You're too late," he said quietly.
"We were married three months ago."
The paper trembled in his hand as he held it out.
But before anyone could speak — a door at the far end of the hall swung open.
And the person who walked through it was the last one anyone expected to see.
😨

What that person revealed next tore the family apart completely.
