Chapter 1: Your Father Will Never Know
"Monique believed no one could see how she treated her husband's eight-year-old son.
Elliot was sobbing inside the bathroom.
His hair, face, and collar were soaked.
"Please…
I'm sorry…
please stop…"
Monique pulled him upright.
"Sorry?"
Then she coldly said:
"You're just the bastard your father brought home to burden me."
Elliot could only cry.
"I'll be good…"
Monique leaned closer.
"Your father will never know."
But she was wrong.
Just outside the bathroom—
Irene, the longtime housekeeper, was secretly recording everything with trembling hands.
She immediately sent the video to Warren.
He was driving home from a client meeting when the notification arrived.
He didn't open it until his vehicle was safely stopped.
Then he saw his son.
Soaked.
Crying.
Terrified.
And he heard Monique's voice:
"Your father will never know."
Warren froze.
"MONIQUE!"
He immediately turned back toward home.
But Irene's recording contained one more detail Warren hadn't noticed yet.
Just before she stopped filming—
Monique referenced something that had happened to Elliot before.
And if Warren had heard her correctly…
this might not have been the first time his son had been treated this way.
