My stepsister destroyed my graduation dress minutes before the ceremony.
She laughed in my face, but she didn't know my father was standing right behind her.
I saved every single penny for six months to buy my dream graduation dress.
It was hanging in my closet, shredded into pieces.
Mia stood near the door holding a pair of heavy scissors.
"It was hideous anyway, I did you a huge favor," she smirked.
My hands started shaking as tears blinded my eyes.
When I begged my stepmother for help, she just shrugged and told me to stop overreacting.
That was when my father stepped into the room.
His face turned ghostly pale as he looked at the ruined dress on the floor.
Without saying a single word, he walked over to Mia's closet and pulled out her $3,000 designer handbag.
He picked up the same scissors Mia had used on my dress.
