Chapter 1: The Bride's Three Conditions

"Attention everyone!

I have three strict conditions before this marriage can proceed," Marcus's bride-to-be announced into the microphone, her voice ringing out clearly across the grand, white-blossom-adorned wedding hall.

She stood proudly at the altar, dressed in an immaculate off-shoulder gown, gazing down at the gathered guests.

"First, Marcus must transfer the deed of his family home entirely into my name.

Second, his mother will move out immediately and live in an old age home.

And third, my mother will live with us in that house." Beside her, her mother nodded with a triumphant smirk, while a collective gasp swept through the stunned audience.

😤

Marcus stared at her, the silence in the room growing suffocatingly heavy.

Slowly, he stepped forward on the white marble stage, clapping his hands in slow, bitter irony.

"Wow," he scoffed, his voice trembling with a mix of disbelief and anger.

"My mother loses her home, and your mother takes her place?

Any woman who can demand something like that clearly does not love me." 💔

With tears welling up in his elderly mother's eyes, Marcus reached down, pulled off his wedding ring, and hurled it onto the floor.

Pointing a firm finger at the speechless bride, he declared, "If that's what you want, go marry someone else!" Without waiting for a response, he turned his back on the altar, took his mother gently by the hand, and began walking away down the aisle.
