Chapter 1: The Mother Who Ruined the Aesthetic

Future Daughter-In-Law Kicked Me Out Of Her Wedding—Unaware I Paid For Everything 😤

"You need to leave.

You're ruining the aesthetic," my future daughter-in-law, Alexis, said softly, her voice dripping with artificial sweetness.

I remained frozen in the center of the estate's sun-drenched gardens, trying to understand what I had just heard.

I looked at my son, hoping to see him stand up and defend me.

Instead, Caleb kept his eyes fixed on the grass, refusing to look me in the eye.

He moved closer, whispering weakly, "Caleb...

Please don't make this awkward."

Alexis offered a condescending tilt of her head, giving me a smug, dismissive smile as if I were nothing more than an uninvited wedding crasher.

"Please go," she added, her eyes narrowing.

"All right," I said softly, keeping my head held high despite the humiliating whispers echoing through the crowd.

I turned on my heel and headed toward the waiting black executive sedan.

As soon as the car door closed, erasing the muffled background music, I opened my laptop and logged into my bank account.

I looked at the confirmation receipt for $65,000—covering the venue, the top-tier catering, the lush floral arrangements, and every single service staff member currently setting up the lavish reception.

Dialing the event coordinator on speakerphone, I said with cold precision: "This is Susan Carter.

Pause every charge under my account immediately." 💔

Outside my tinted window, chaos erupted as servers suddenly began clearing champagne glasses, dismantling the floral arches, and carrying away the tables.

Through the glass, I saw Alexis staring at the sudden shutdown, her face turning pale and her mouth dropping open in total, unadulterated horror 😨.
