Chapter 1: The Woman I Ordered Away

Get Out Of My Sight, Old Woman!

😤

"Get out of my sight, old woman!" My voice echoed through the opulent, crystal-lit grand ballroom, vibrating with raw unadulterated fury as I aimed a shaking, manicured finger straight at her face.

Every single guest at the wedding held their breath, the stunned silence broken only by the crackle of absolute shock.

Lady Eleanor didn’t flinch.

She didn’t drop her gaze.

Instead, her piercing, immaculate blue eyes swept over me with a look of profound, chilling disdain.

Without uttering a single word in defense, she slowly turned her back on me, her fitted silver jacket catching the brilliant chandelier light as she walked away with complete, unbothered aristocratic grace.

Moments later, the tall oak doors clicked shut behind her, but the nightmare was only beginning.

My newlywed husband, Julian, dressed in his pristine military uniform, moved closer to me.

The warmth I thought I knew in his eyes was completely gone, replaced by a terrifying, icy void.

"Your financial authorization has been withdrawn," he announced, his voice slicing through the charged air like a bl@de.

The words h*t me like physical blows.

My breath caught in my throat.

I stared at him, my mind scrambling to find any trace of a joke, any hint that this was all a cruel prank.

But his expression remained fixed in a ruthless, unyielding stare.

The ground beneath my satin wedding shoes seemed to vanish.

My eyes widened in sheer, mounting horror, my pupils dilating as the terrifying reality of what I had just done crashed down upon me.

My jaw dropped slack, a silent scream of absolute terror forming on my lips as the realization of total ruin set in.

😨

And then, a cold, calculated breath whispered right beside my ear.

I froze, slowly turning my head to find Lady Eleanor standing directly behind me once more, her expression carved from stone, looking down at me with a triumphant, merciless smile.
