The maid had one reason for breaking open the coffin.
"She's not d\*ad."
Nobody believed her.
Not even Emily's husband.
But the maid insisted she had heard something from inside the coffin.
Then the lid cracked open.
Silence.
Nothing moved.
Until a pale hand slowly appeared through the broken wood.
The husband stumbled backward.
"Emily?"
The maid stared at him.
"I told you."
But before anyone could open the coffin completely, the woman inside whispered something.
Only three words.
Words that made the maid suddenly step back in fear.
Because they revealed that the coffin was never meant to hold Emily in the first place.
