Chapter 1: The Jacket
The Woman in Green's triumphant smile vanished when the Father ignored her pointing finger and wrapped his dry jacket around the shivering Maid instead.
"After diving into the pool to save a drowning baby, a heroic maid is instantly framed for attempted m\*rder by an opportunistic woman in green—forcing her boss to make a devastating choice."
The Maid does not hesitate when the stroller hits the water.
She runs.
She dives.
She reaches the Baby underwater and brings the child back to the surface.
"I saved him!"
But when the Father rushes onto the patio, the Woman in Green gets to him first.
She points directly at the Maid.
"She pushed him in!"
The Maid is still soaked and shivering beside the pool.
The Baby is still crying.
And before the Maid can explain, the Father reacts to the accusation.
